Role Overview
The Com-Dev Executive is a fully outward-facing role focused exclusively on building relationships, generating opportunities, and converting new clients through community engagement. The role has no overall responsibility for reporting, CRM management, or performance tracking, allowing full focus on relationship-building and growth activity.
Responsibilities
Proactively engage in targeted community-led lead generation, networking, and referral activity.
Build trusted relationships with prospective clients, introducers; and identify partners.
Identify, qualify, and progress opportunities through meaningful conversations and needs discovery.
Represent Y TREE at community events, forums, and professional networks.
Collaborate closely with advisers and internal teams to ensure a smooth handover and prospect/client experience.
Maintain strong personal organisation and follow-up discipline while relying on central systems and support for administration.
About You
7+ years experience in a sales, relationship management, or community engagement role (financial services experience is desirable but not essential).
Track record of commercial success and hustle.
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building capability.
Natural networker with a high level of curiosity and commercial awareness.
Comfortable working autonomously in an externally focused role.
