Team Overview

The Product team at Y TREE is a close-knit, highly driven group of 10. We operate with extreme focus on two core pillars: creating an incredible client experience that drives organic growth, and making our business radically more efficient by streamlining internal processes. We are fast-paced, collaborative, and obsessed with delivering tangible value.

The Role

We are looking to hire a dedicated Product Manager focused entirely on scoping and building efficiencies across the business. This is a hands-on role. You will scope and define operational solutions, and build them yourself using low-code/no-code platforms and AI tools. You will be supported by a Senior Product Manager and the wider Tech team.

You will focus on operational processes across many teams throughout Y TREE, including Talent, Finance, Business Support, Community Development, Risk and Compliance, and Marketing. Your core objective is to build automated infrastructure to handle our increasing operational demands, streamlining workflows so our teams can spend their time on maximum impact work.

• Discovery & Prioritisation: You will embed yourself within other teams to deeply understand their day-to-day operations, proactively identifying inefficiencies and mapping out future opportunities for automation. You will ruthlessly prioritise the backlog to maximise impact on pure time savings and operational risk reduction.

• Solution Design: When a problem is identified, you will architect the most efficient, scalable process. You will consider the wider Y TREE data ecosystem, define exactly how the workflow should function, and decide the best technical approach for the job.

• Building Solutions: You will act as the executor, directly building logic and workflows using the latest low-code and AI platforms. For complex technical implementations that go beyond low-code capabilities, you will translate requirements and collaborate directly with our developers and platform engineers.

• Measuring Impact: You will continuously track and measure the success of your automations, ensuring they deliver the expected operational efficiency, headcount cost avoidance, and tangible time savings to the business.

• Championing & Inspiring: You will act as an internal champion for automation, promoting the solutions you build and inspiring teams to think more critically about what day to day workflows could be automated. By getting the wider company excited about what new technology can achieve, you will help drive the operational transformation of the entire business

About You

• Proven Automation Experience: You have two to three years of professional experience with a demonstrable track record of successfully implementing automations within a business. You must have hands-on experience of building real value in a business context using n8n, alongside other modern automation and AI tools.

• Excellent Solution Design Skills: You can think strategically and creatively about complex problems. You have a rigorous product mindset, meaning you not only design highly effective solutions, but you also understand the limitations of your tools and know exactly what not to build.

• Delivery Focused: You thrive in a fast-paced environment. You are biased toward action, and driven to move quickly to get solutions into the hands of your users.

• Quality & Safety First: While you move fast, you hold yourself to an exceptionally high standard of quality. You understand when to integrate a "human in the loop" and how to implement strict guardrails that minimise risk to the business.

• Results & Impact Driven: You are commercially minded and laser-focused on results. You understand that success is not simply measured by "automations built," but by delivering tangible time savings and solving real operational bottlenecks.

• Exceptional Communicator: You possess high empathy and outstanding communication skills, allowing you to build strong relationships and align diverse stakeholders across different teams.
